1. About Dabbies

Dabbies is a people-powered data collection platform that connects contributors with opportunities to collect and provide real-world data for use in data, research, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and related technology projects.

Depending on the task, contributors may be asked to provide materials such as voice recordings, photographs, written information, or other forms of data. Dabbies may review, process, organize, quality-check, and prepare submitted materials for use by Dabbies and authorized customers or partners.

Dabbies does not guarantee that every contributor will receive a particular number of tasks, submissions, earnings, bonuses, or withdrawals. The availability of tasks may change according to customer requirements, geographic requirements, data requirements, quality requirements, capacity, and other operational considerations.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, accessing the Dabbies platform, participating in a task, submitting data, claiming a bonus, making a referral, or otherwise using Dabbies, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any policies expressly incorporated into them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not create an account or use the Dabbies platform.

These Terms apply to your use of Dabbies whether you access the platform through a website, progressive web application, mobile device, computer, or another supported method of access.

3. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age requirement displayed by Dabbies at the time you create or use your account. At present, Dabbies is available to individuals who are at least 13 years old.

By registering, you confirm that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

Certain tasks may have additional eligibility requirements. These requirements may relate to location, language, demographic characteristics, equipment, recording conditions, subject matter, or other factors necessary for a particular data-collection project.

Meeting the general eligibility requirement does not guarantee access to every task.

4. Your Dabbies Account

You may maintain only the number of Dabbies accounts permitted by Dabbies. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional task access, bonuses, referrals, or other benefits is prohibited.

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating and maintaining your account. You must not knowingly provide false, misleading, stolen, or fabricated information.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. You must notify Dabbies if you believe that your account has been accessed without your authorization.

You must not sell, rent, transfer, lend, or otherwise allow another person to use your Dabbies account.

5. Tasks and Participation

Dabbies may make data-collection tasks available to eligible contributors. Each task may contain its own instructions, requirements, deadlines, quality standards, eligibility conditions, and payment information.

Before completing a task, you are responsible for reviewing the instructions provided for that task and ensuring that you can satisfy its requirements.

Participation in a task is voluntary unless a separate agreement expressly states otherwise. You may choose which available tasks you wish to participate in, subject to eligibility and availability requirements.

Dabbies may add, modify, pause, replace, or remove tasks at any time. A task may become unavailable even after you have viewed it if the underlying project reaches its required volume, changes its requirements, or is otherwise closed.

6. Submission Requirements

When you submit data through Dabbies, you must follow the instructions applicable to the task. Your submission must be genuine, relevant, sufficiently complete, and produced in accordance with the task requirements.

You must not intentionally submit fabricated, duplicated, automatically generated, manipulated, misleading, or otherwise invalid material when the task requires authentic human-generated data.

You must not submit material that you do not have the necessary rights or permission to provide.

If a task requires you to obtain permission from another person before collecting their image, voice, likeness, or other information, you are responsible for obtaining that permission before making the submission.

Dabbies may review submissions using automated systems, human reviewers, or a combination of both. A submission may be accepted, rejected, returned for correction, or otherwise reviewed according to the requirements of the applicable task.

7. Submission Quality and Rejection

Completing a task does not automatically mean that the submission qualifies for payment. Submissions may be reviewed against the requirements communicated for the relevant task.

A submission may be rejected where it does not satisfy the task requirements, contains insufficient or unusable data, appears duplicated or manipulated, violates applicable instructions, or otherwise fails the applicable quality review.

Where a task provides a correction or resubmission process, Dabbies may allow a contributor to correct or replace an eligible submission. The availability of such an option depends on the task.

8. Earnings and Payments

Where a task provides compensation, the applicable amount or payment terms will be communicated through the Dabbies platform or the relevant task information.

Earnings are associated with eligible activity and qualifying submissions. Dabbies may delay, withhold, adjust, or reverse an amount where there is a reasonable basis to believe that the underlying activity or submission did not satisfy the applicable requirements, including where fraud, duplication, manipulation, or other prohibited activity is identified.

Displayed balances may include different categories of amounts, including task earnings, bonuses, referral rewards, or other credits. The availability and withdrawal conditions of each category may be subject to separate requirements.

Dabbies does not guarantee that an amount displayed in an account will be immediately available for withdrawal.

9. Withdrawals

Contributors may request withdrawal of eligible funds when they satisfy the withdrawal requirements applicable at the time of the request.

Withdrawal requirements may include a minimum withdrawal amount, completion of required account verification, provision of valid payment information, successful validation of the payment account, and compliance with applicable anti-fraud and account-security requirements.

Dabbies may require additional verification before processing a withdrawal where necessary to protect the contributor, Dabbies, payment providers, or the integrity of the platform.

A withdrawal may be delayed or declined where the supplied payment information is invalid, the transaction cannot be completed by the applicable payment provider, the account is subject to a legitimate review, or there is a reasonable basis for investigating suspected abuse or fraud.

10. Bonuses

Dabbies may offer promotional bonuses to eligible contributors. Promotional bonuses are not automatically earned merely by creating an account unless the applicable promotion expressly states otherwise.

At the time of these Terms, Dabbies may provide an eligible new contributor with a signup bonus of ₦2,000, subject to the conditions communicated through the platform and any applicable verification or anti-abuse requirements.

Dabbies may change, suspend, or discontinue promotional bonuses. Where a bonus is subject to specific conditions, those conditions must be satisfied before the bonus becomes available for use or withdrawal.

Bonuses may not be claimed through duplicate accounts, fabricated information, automated activity, manipulation of the referral system, or any other attempt to obtain promotional benefits improperly.

11. Referrals

Dabbies may provide a referral program through which eligible contributors can invite other individuals to join the platform.

Referral rewards are subject to the rules and qualifying conditions displayed by Dabbies. A referral does not automatically create a reward merely because another person registers using a referral code.

You must not create accounts for the purpose of generating referral rewards for yourself, use false identities, manipulate referral attribution, coordinate fraudulent registrations, or otherwise abuse the referral system.

Dabbies may investigate referral activity and may withhold or reverse referral rewards associated with activity that violates these Terms or the applicable referral rules.

12. Data Collection and Use

Dabbies operates as a data-collection and data-processing platform. Materials submitted by contributors may be reviewed, processed, quality-checked, organized, annotated, transformed where appropriate, and prepared for use in datasets or other data products.

Depending on the applicable project, collected materials may be provided to authorized Dabbies customers or partners for purposes described by the relevant project or applicable Dabbies documentation.

The specific handling of personal information and other information associated with your account is described in the Dabbies Privacy Policy.

A contributor should not submit information belonging to another person unless the contributor has the required permission or legal basis to collect and submit that information for the applicable task.

13. Rights in Submitted Material

You remain responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit material to Dabbies.

By submitting material for a Dabbies task, you grant Dabbies the rights necessary to receive, store, review, process, quality-check, reproduce, organize, modify where reasonably necessary for processing, and use that material for the purposes of operating the applicable data-collection project and providing the resulting data services.

Where a task requires Dabbies to provide submitted material or resulting datasets to a customer or partner, you authorize Dabbies to make the relevant material available for that purpose in accordance with the applicable task terms.

The exact rights applicable to a particular submission may depend on the nature of the task and any additional terms presented to you before participation. Where additional terms apply, those terms will form part of the agreement governing that submission.

14. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use Dabbies to commit fraud, deceive another person, interfere with the platform, obtain benefits through manipulation, or violate applicable law.

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, creating unauthorized duplicate accounts, submitting fraudulent or fabricated data, manipulating task results, abusing referrals or bonuses, attempting to bypass account or security controls, impersonating another person, using another person's account, interfering with payment processing, or attempting to exploit technical vulnerabilities.

You must not use bots, scripts, automated systems, or other mechanisms to manipulate Dabbies activity where such use is not expressly authorized.

15. Account Review, Suspension, and Termination

Dabbies may review an account or activity where necessary to maintain platform security, protect users, verify information, investigate suspected abuse, enforce task requirements, or comply with legal obligations.

Dabbies may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where there is a reasonable basis to believe that the account or its activity violates these Terms, applicable task requirements, or other applicable Dabbies policies.

Where appropriate, Dabbies may request additional information or verification before restoring access or processing certain account actions.

Account termination does not automatically invalidate obligations that by their nature are intended to continue after termination, including applicable provisions relating to submitted material, intellectual property, disputes, liability, and other continuing obligations.

16. Platform Availability

Dabbies aims to keep the platform available and functional, but continuous or uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security events, third-party services, network failures, or circumstances outside Dabbies' reasonable control.

17. Third-Party Services

Dabbies may rely on third-party providers for services such as authentication, email delivery, payment processing, cloud infrastructure, storage, analytics, security, or other technical functions.

Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and policies. Dabbies is not responsible for the independent operation of third-party services outside Dabbies' control.

18. Changes to Dabbies and These Terms

Dabbies may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform, including tasks, features, payment methods, bonuses, referral programs, or other services.

Dabbies may also update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, applicable requirements, operational practices, or legal obligations.

When material changes are made, Dabbies may provide notice through the platform, email, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of Dabbies after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Privacy

Dabbies collects and processes information in connection with operating the platform, maintaining contributor accounts, processing submissions, preventing abuse, communicating with contributors, and providing its services.

The Dabbies Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, why it is collected, how it may be used, how it may be shared, and the choices and rights available to individuals where applicable.

20. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Dabbies platform, including its software, interface, branding, logos, text, graphics, design elements, and other original platform materials, is owned by or licensed to Dabbies and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not give you ownership of Dabbies' platform, trademarks, software, branding, or other proprietary materials.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, sell, or commercially exploit Dabbies' proprietary platform materials except where expressly permitted by Dabbies or applicable law.

21. Disclaimers

Dabbies provides the platform and its services subject to availability and applicable law. Except where expressly stated, Dabbies does not guarantee that a particular task will remain available, that a contributor will receive a particular amount of work or earnings, or that every submission will be accepted.

Information displayed through the platform may change as tasks, projects, payment arrangements, and operational requirements change.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dabbies will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of the platform where such limitation is legally permitted.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

23. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to Dabbies and its operations, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law.

If you have a concern about your account, a task, a payment, a submission, or another aspect of Dabbies, you should contact Dabbies first so that the matter can be reviewed and addressed where possible.
